Clinic Overview

The Philippines is an EXCLUSIVE Economy, where only the rich get richer while
the poor get even poorer, and keep swelling in number. In fact, there are far
more poor Filipinos today than at any time in the nation’s history. While our
Asia-Pacific neighbors achieved inclusive economic growth over the past 30
years, the Philippines tumbled disgracefully from ranking 2nd only to Japan in
the 1960s to dead-last at # 12 mainly due to our EXCLUSIVE economic model.

Willy Arcilla will explain the reasons behind this economic tragedy, then
recommend concrete steps to remedy our malaise. He believes the Philippines
is an EXCLUSIVE Economy primarily because most companies use EXCLUSIVE
business models. The national economy, known as the Macroeconomy, is
made up of millions of individual firms operating in their own “Microeconomy”.

Willy Arcilla was blessed to study and work, live and travel around Asia-Pacific,
so he was able to observe and learn, analyze and synthesize the secrets behind
the Asian economic miracle that successfully uplifted the greatest number of
poor people in the history of the world – nearly 1 billion. He recommends
reinventing a firm’s business model to build a more INCLUSIVE Microeconomy
that altogether can contribute to building a more INCLUSIVE Macroeconomy.

Key Topics:

1) A New Economic Doctrine for Inclusive Growth: ENRICH THE POOR!
2) The OFW Diaspora: An Economic Strategy or Economic Tragedy?
3) Revitalizing Philippine Agriculture
4) Rejuvenating Philippine Tourism
